About

With an extensive background in both regular and special education, I bring a wide variety of experience, approaches, and techniques to my work. While I can work with students on a variety of early elementary subjects, my specialty is K-5 literacy and remedial reading and K-3 math competency. There's nothing I enjoy more than helping early childhood learners find that "aha moment" when it comes to foundational reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.I typically conduct my tutoring sessions via Zoom, although I am potentially open to in-person sessions in the Fairfield County area as safety permits. Frequency and timing of sessions will be scheduled based on mutual availability and student need.
